Counting again.

I've been writing down the blessings again, as I feel the need to anchor myself in all that God has done, is doing and will do.
Remembering these things this week:


* the steadfast love of the Lord
* beauty wherever we find it

* feeling loved
* relief from anxiety
* having time in my bed
* crying with friends
* those same friends' desire for us and their deep love for us and our children
* repenting of my too-quick words
* amaryllis blooming!
* sleep
* eager students
* reluctant students
* hand-me-downs for Lucy
* kids playing in the snow
* yellow coffee mugs
* red sunrises
* fleece things

* John's steady reassurance
