Vacation Diary #7

Today we drove to Santa Fe to go to church. We visited Christ Church Santa Fe. Serendipitously, we were there on the Sunday when the pastor (with whom we are acquainted)told his congregation that the Lord is leading him to a new position in another state. It was a beautiful message to his people, and was quite moving. For John and me, it made us remember our painful move of three years ago and how it feels to leave a place and people you love and have no outward reason to leave. But you do it for the Kingdom and because He calls. I have more thoughts about this; not sure I can write about them here. Perhaps.
It was a gloriously sunny and clear New Mexican summer day. Warm but not hot. A sweet breeze to keep things cool. We ate lunch and then walked around the Plaza.
