Giving thanks

Note:  Blogger is being weird.  I apologize for the strange-looking text in this post.

Now thank we all our God
with heart and hands and voices,
Who wondrous things hath done
In whom this world rejoices;
Who from our mothers' arms
Hath blessed us on our way
With countless gifts of love,
And still is ours today.

O may this bounteous God
through all our life be near us,
With ever joyful hearts
And blessed peace to cheer us,
And keep us still in grace,
And guide us when perplexed,
And free us from all ills
In this world and the next.

All praise and thanks to God
the Father now be given;
The Son and Him who reigns
With them in highest heaven.
The One eternal God
Whom earth and heaven adore
For thus it was, is now,
And shall be evermore.

  1. Hey Kit! I love the Thanksgiving images and the hymn.

    Re: the formatting. I was having trouble with something I cut and pasted from Biblegateway the other day. Colin suggested putting the text in Notepad first, which strips it of all formatting from the copied site, then it doesn't do the funny spacing. I don't know if that's the trouble you're having, but it was driving me nuts and I was so glad for his help!
